I had the pleasure of working with Patricia at Leap Career Coaching to enhance my communication skills in group meetings with senior leaders. The experience was incredibly valuable, particularly in focusing on non-technical skills. Thanks to this coaching, I am now more confident and prepared to engage in high-visibility projects and collaborate effectively across departments. I highly recommend communication coaching, as it provides deep insights into yourself and significantly boosts your professional capabilities.
I availed of the ‘Stay or Go?’ Decision Making Coaching because I wanted clarity of thought to support a decision about the next step in my career. The highlight of the service was observing how my thought process had cleared up as I worked through the exercises and our coaching session. I will admit, when I first flicked through the workbook, I thought “this is not what I need” – but by working through each exercise, I realised how wrong I was. When it came to listing my “must haves” and “nice to haves” towards the end of the process, they just flowed, with very little effort or conscious thought.
Having completed the session, I felt confident that I knew what my next step should be and that it would turn out to be the right one – you gave me the courage to trust my instinct by helping me to see it from many angles and recognise that there was logic behind my instinct too. I have recommended the service to a few people already.
Patricia is an excellent coach, with a perfect balance of compassion and professionalism. Through both the pre-work and coaching session she provided the tools and prompts to allow me to answer my own questions, giving me great clarity. She put forward many different perspectives that I would not have considered myself and helped me to see things from lots of new angles.
I engaged with career challenge coaching to gain clarity and support regarding my book career. I have successfully published two books while working with Patricia and am now currently writing my third. The highlight for me was the sense of unconditional regard and warm support, whilst challenging me to focus. I felt really supported and challenged through the process. If you are looking for a coach to help you significantly move a project forward, or to support you in making a key career decision, there is no one I’d recommend more highly than Patricia Tiernan. Her warm support, empathy, coaching skill and willingness to challenge can be the difference that makes the difference in progressing your career and finding – or creating – the work that gives you joy.
I took part in the career change coaching programme to get guidance on my career goals. In particular, I benefited from the vision workshop that brought together everything I had learned and put into practice since beginning my coaching sessions, it allowed me to reflect and see the progress made, visualise my future potential and realise how valuable the whole coaching experience was. As a result of taking part in the career change coaching programme, I felt stronger self-belief, confident, inspired and energised. For anyone considering the programme, I’d say, go for it! It will be the best investment you will ever make in yourself that will have ripple positive effects in all areas of your life. Patricia’s responsiveness, expertise and genuine interest in me made it a 5-star service.
I signed up for the career change coaching programme to find some direction in my career moving forward and as a way of broadening how I was looking at things. The structured lessons were what I enjoyed most as they helped by breaking down different areas and allowed me to start looking at things in a different way. I also liked how each session could focus on a particular thing that came up during the lessons/worksheets. I now feel very prepared going forward, I know my strengths and am more confident with my career direction. I also learned how to translate this when breaking down a job description and preparing for an interview.
I’m delighted to have been offered two roles that meet the needs I identified through the programme.
This programme will help you immensely, Patricia guides you on taking a review of yourself, your skills and your goals through the 1:1 sessions and the course. A worthwhile thing to do will help in numerous ways.
I completed the career challenge programme to learn better stress management skills and to get a clearer vision for my career. The tools that I learned to help me manage stress and also learnt about what motivates me at work. Having completed the programme I am now more at ease with difficult work situations and more clear in what I want from my career. I found Career Challenge Coaching a worthwhile thing to do, as it helped me in numerous ways. Highly recommend.
Beyond a million thanks to Patricia and the coaching process. She helped me to move forward gently and easily. Her openness and practical approaches were invaluable. Patricia’s greatest strength is her unfailing support and encouragement. Patricia is steadfast, reliable and an easy joy to work with.
Came to coaching because I was stuck in a deep bog, the process helped pull me out to standing ground. Often struggled with the process and felt defeated but I slowly and eventually felt better. Reconnected with childhood dreams. Do not hesitate to use Patricia’s services. It is proactive and a positive step forward. I highly recommend coaching with Patricia – something you will never regret.
During the Career Change Coaching Programme Patricia truly went above and beyond what I initially came for help with. After our sessions, I have a much better understanding and acceptance of who I am. I learned so much about myself with Patricia’s help. I now have a better understanding of my strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivators. I now feel equipped to lead a life where I stay true to these things and feel confident on my chosen career path. Patricia is so easy to talk to, I felt very comfortable being honest with her about what makes me happy and she helped me set out to look for those things. The leap career change coaching programme will make you think about aspects of yourself you didn’t realise you would need to understand. I highly recommend Patricia to anyone who needs some guidance on their career path, but not only did she help me with that, she helped me to understand who I am. I cannot recommend her enough.
I worked with Patricia in the Career Change Coaching Programme as I was looking for a career move. From the very beginning, she was extremely professional. She used Career Coaching tools to help me better understand my personality and what I want to achieve. She took the time to listen to me and above all, she did not judge my new career choices. She helped me to identify my wider skill set and opened my eyes to some possibilities I had not yet considered. She was very action-focused. I have recommended Patricia to a good number of my friends and would highly recommend Career Change Coaching.
Really enjoyed working with you. I was considering a few different career counsellors but I’m delighted to have made the right choice going with you.
I never received any proper career guidance in school and just kind of drifted into college and a course I didn’t really have any interest in (Engineering). This led me down a career path I didn’t really want to go, but I felt like I couldn’t get out of the ‘current’ dragging me into areas I didn’t want to go. I really wanted to make a change but wasn’t sure what I wanted or how to get there.
The coaching had a huge impact on me. As I mentioned above I had found myself in a role and industry that really wasn’t aligned with what I wanted. Despite that, I wasn’t having any real issues with my CV or interviewing and I got a lot of job offers by detaching the job candidate me from the actual me, but none of them truly aligned with what I really wanted.
I never gave much thought to my career and I felt like I always just stumbled from one thing to the next. I came to a point where I was very fed up and wanted to take a step back and reflect on what is it I actually wanted; a complete shake-up or just some re-direction.
I found it really helpful going back to the basics, looking at my values and my personality style. Patricia is a great listener and really helped to work through and challenge how I viewed certain things. Patricia also gave me wonderful guidance and support around interview preparation. In the end, I realised I just needed some redirection.
I’m really glad I did the Career Change Coaching programme as I feel like I saved a lot of time and money in the long run.
Since being coached, I’ve noticed a complete shift in my energy. I’m lighter and stronger, confident in my being. I’m confident in my ability to find the answers.
So Career and Life Coaching, is it really worth it? 110% yes – it’s like a rollercoaster ride, it’s not for the faint-hearted but for those who are brave enough to get on, you will experience the highs and the lows but you won’t want to get off.
When I started working with Patricia I was hoping to get help with my self-confidence and help me develop skills to transition into my career. I really feel like I achieved this and more. Patricia asked the hard questions that you won’t ask yourself and defiantly won’t take the time to properly answer and more importantly truthfully answer.
I really feel like I’m walking away with my toolkit topped up so to speak and the confidence to move forward in a positive manner.
Life is most defiantly a skill, and in my opinion, everyone should have a coach, we wouldn’t leave our professional life to chance, we work on it and retrain and try and progress so why do so many of us leave our lives to chance? Coaching will point you in the direction that is right for you.
When I signed up for Career Coaching, I was trying to find an answer to what kind of career I wanted to pursue. Patricia helped me in overcoming my indecisiveness and confusion by getting to the root of it.
Getting career guidance is something I never saw myself doing and I admit that I was a bit skeptical before beginning work with Patricia.
I’m happy to say that I overcame that through our work together and in turn, I really discovered a lot about myself and what I value in life, not just in work.
I am now on the path to a new career with a much better vision and idea of where I want to be in my career. I have Patricia to thank for that. I recommend her coaching and I also recommend throwing yourself into the process in order to get the most out of it.
When I commenced coaching with Patricia, I was at a stage where I was nearly ready to give up my dream of creating a coaching business and working in the personal development arena, even though I have the skills, qualifications, and experience. I held within a self-limiting belief that was preventing me from moving forward. A big part of what I was hoping to get from the coaching was to do with building confidence and getting a clear vision of the steps I need to take.
After four sessions I can genuinely say that I achieved everything I was seeking and more! First of all, I would say that Patricia’s style really worked for me, she is a super skillful Coach who provided a safe space for me to take a deep dive and uncover all the areas that needed attention, so that I could move forward towards my goal. Patricia embodies qualities such as compassion, non-judgment, humility while also being able to challenge my thinking.
It was not the linear journey that I expected but instead, a real opportunity to investigate what was blocking me. This space made it possible to go through the issues rather than avoid them. I needed to spend some time on that before I could reach my goal.
On a final note, I did achieve my goal and in a nutshell feel like I am on the road to functioning from a place of integration, aligned nicely and ready to launch my business. I am so grateful to Patricia for accompanying me on this journey. I would 100% recommend anyone to contact Patricia, whether you need Career or Life Coaching.
I found this to be an excellent experience. I ended up going in a direction that I did not at all foresee at the start of the coaching programme. I found it very challenging at times but this is part of the experience. Coaching supported me to analyse myself and challenge misconceptions I had about what it is I want in a career or even what qualities I myself have as a person. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in any way unhappy in their career or unsure of what path to take.
Absolutely delighted with the service. I feel that Patricia really help me to identify a career that I will be happy in.
I can’t tell you enough how much I have benefitted from my time with Patricia and the leap coaching methods. I’m much happier in myself and I thought I was happy before attending!
Patricia was so approachable and kind. I felt very comfortable speaking to her and it was easy to be honest with her about my needs and views, in turn, I was then able, to be honest with myself. My confidence has never been so high. I’m now much more accepting of who I am and feel I can now use the specific talents I have to build a life where I know I will be content. I can’t thank her enough she truly did go above and beyond and she helped me immensely.
I engaged Patricia as a Career Coach following recommendations from 2 close friends. I had come to a point in my career where I no longer found value and meaning in the work I was doing and took a step back to re-evaluate.
Working with Patricia I looked deeper at myself, my values and motivators and built out an action plan in terms of the best next steps for me utilising Patricia’s support, tools and techniques. Additionally, we touched on some challenges I was facing, CV Prep and Interview Techniques, I enjoyed being able to set the agenda.
Initially, I was apprehensive, but what I got out of the program was far more than ever expected. I immediately felt at ease with Patricia and loved her ability to enable me to open up on a variety of topics.
Take that leap of faith and work with Patricia, you won’t regret it.
If you find yourself in a career rut, check this lady out, Patricia Tiernan Leap Coaching. I was in a job for 11 years and found myself completely stuck. A few sessions with Patricia (and some challenging personal work!) I found the confidence to walk away. I’ve been self-employed & working since 2015. No longer working to please others, I’m working for myself & for the values that I stand for. Change isn’t so scary when you find a good coach. Give her a try, you will have no regrets.
I hope you are well! I came to you for a session a number of years ago now and I wanted to let you know that it resulted in a huge shift for me… it really did set in motion a series of events that led to a big step forward for me.
So I wanted to take a moment to thank you for that!
It was uncomfortable at the time but it really did help.
Thank you. You helped create a calm environment where I could think. On hearing my own thoughts back, I now know what to do. I am walking a little taller than when I came in.
Thank you so much. I feel like I’ve had a spiritual awakening, very high energy. A pleasure to be coached by you. I love your style and incredible intuition and skill. The relief I feel is incredible and your gentle but persuasive way really got me to see things very differently. Soooo excited.
I just want to say thank you so much for all your Career Coaching help, this journey has been a great and memorable experience. You are very talented at your job and I won’t fail to mention your name when I am asked how I figured out my career path. I may even have a new client for you, my sister, if she decides to stay at home after Xmas, as she is in the same boat I was in.
Again, thank you very much, Patricia, I wouldn’t have been able to figure out my calling without your help, support and guidance.
Thanks a million Patricia. It was great working with you …thanks for the motivation and support, it’s been really helpful. I’ll be sure to recommend you to any friends looking for a career coaching. I’ll definitely let you know how the job hunt goes.
I came to Career and Life coaching because it was part of my own coaching course and I was really happy with Patricia. I felt she had a really calming effect on me and I connected well with her and she helped me, to help myself, understand myself better to enable me to make more informed choices going forward but also and more importantly she helped me to open the window to dreams I didn’t know I had!!
Since being coached, I’ve noticed a complete shift in my energy. I’m lighter and stronger, confident in my being. I’m confident in my ability to find the answers.
So life coaching, is it really worth it? 110% yes – it’s like a rollercoaster ride, it’s not for the faint-hearted but for those who are brave enough to get on, you will experience the highs and the lows but you won’t want to get off.
I am extremely grateful for all the help and support I received throughout the six weeks. I feel much lighter and calmer and I feel that I received a lot of valuable information that can help me reach my end goal, all I need to do now is continue working on my self-confidence and courage and once everything I learned sinks in I am absolutely positive things will work out. My friends already mentioned that I seem much stronger and much more confident – I may not be able to see it yet, but others have already noticed the improvement in me. So thank you so so much for your support, Patricia. Looking forward seeking your services again soon for interview skills training and will keep you updated on my course!
I engaged Patricia as a Career Coach as I felt unclear and unconfident in the current path my career was taking. Patricia helped me to understand my strengths, my interests, my skills and the options open to me. I am delighted that I attended career coaching. It has motivated me to take control of my career and I have learned a number of techniques to manage challenging situations.
During my career coaching and interview coaching sessions with Patricia she truly went above and beyond what I initially asked her to help me with. After our sessions, I now have a much better understanding and acceptance of who I am.
The LEAP Coaching programme will make you think about aspects of yourself you didn’t realise you would need to understand. I highly recommend Patricia to anyone who needs some guidance on their career path, but not only did she help me with that, she helped me to understand who I am. I cannot recommend her enough.
I just wanted to let you know that I was offered the position as a Senior xx at xx. I started 2 weeks ago. Although I’ve only just started, everything is going well, and I’m really enjoying it so far.
The advice you gave on fixing up my CV and preparing for the interview for this role was so helpful. I really feel that the company and position align to my values, and I’m so excited to have this opportunity.
Thank you again for all of your help and support during our sessions.
I am very happy that the session this morning went well, and am delighted that you helped me. I’ll do the homework regarding the interview, and hope for the best.
I will certainly recommend Leap Coaching based on this session alone. It was excellent compared to what I had been getting from the Adult Career Guidance I had been seeing.
Many thanks
Since finishing school, I felt lost regarding my career, I did a few courses but never knew what to do so the anxiety kept building. I was never fulfilled in any of my roles and I knew I wanted more from my job. I eventually decided I needed someone professional to step in. Making the decision to attend coaching was most definitely one of my best decisions to date. My coach empowered me from the very beginning, each week I felt my confidence build and my anxious energy decrease.
I was fascinated by how the process worked. From the very beginning of the coaching process, I gave it my all and definitely reaped the rewards as a result. Although my knowledge of the coaching process was somewhat limited, to begin with as the weeks went by I learned the value of the process. My coach gave me the tools I needed to make positive life changes. At no point during the process did I feel overwhelmed, it was very doable, most enjoyable, and incredibly eye-opening! It helped me gain confidence in my abilities, identify my strengths and skills. It empowered me to step by step build the future that I now know I want to work towards.
I had myself written off and decided to see a Career Coach, just to see options available.
I’ve gained confidence and a sense of direction.
Thanks again!
After two practice sessions, I felt comfortable enough during the interview to be able to give good solid answers without being distracted by nerves. I was successful in my interview and the interviewer commented in particular that my presentation was excellent!
I worked with Patricia to prepare for a senior interview & presentation. I was successful in my application. I found the whole process to be excellent, it was both supportive and challenging and extremely useful. I had availed of other interview prep over the years but this was my best experience. Very happy and I have recommended Patricia to people many times since! Excellent for people who have not interviewed in a while or just general confidence building.
I signed up for interview skills training as I hoped to get good practice and feedback about how to improve my interview performance. Patricia has a great ability to think of/notice what I didn’t! Always has super helpful feedback! The resources (sample questions, etc) are amazingly helpful!! The training supported me to feel much calmer in approaching the interview. Patricia has a very calming presence, which adds to her assets as a great coach. I have recommended the service several times, and have always said it will make you feel overprepared, which is what you want when interviewing.
I reached out to Patricia (for a second time) in September 2023 to prepare for an interview. I am so glad that I did. Having the structure to prepare helped me to dig deep to truly understand my own motivation for applying for the role, to identify the work that I was most proud of and the key skills that I would bring to the table. There is nothing like being put through the process prior to the real thing! That in turn ensures that you feel more confident on the day. I was successful in my interview and I would highly recommend Patricia if you are preparing for an interview.
I had previously struggled with how to put myself and my experience forward clearly and concisely. I found it really hard to stay on point and keep my answers relevant to the questions asked in the interview. Patricia made me feel at ease during the entire session which allowed me to get the very most I could out of my time with her. I learned to shift my focus to the job description and what the company’s needs were from the position. I was delighted to be successful in my interview despite the huge competition. Having interviewed previously for the same position, I credit this coaching for my success this time. As well as achieving the job opportunity I wanted this time, I have a new outlook on any future interviews that I might do.
Before my recent interview training with Patricia, I had only gone through formal interviews once, and that was in order to obtain an entry-level graduate position after university, which was now six/ seven years ago. At that time, I also attended Patricia’s interview prep and some mock interviews, so this time around I already knew it was well worth the investment, so I reached out immediately once I knew I had interviews lined up.
In addition to doing the interview prep, I really wanted to get Patricia’s insights into which of my experiences were best to share in response to the competency-based questions. I wanted to do extra mock interviews to focus on this to ensure I was putting my best experiences forward. I also sought help with how best to structure my career history and how to justify my decisions/ motivations for a career choice going forward. I also had taken a significant career break of approximately one year and was nervous about how best to explain this use of my time to a prospective employer. None of this was a problem for Patricia and she was able to help me explain all of this in a way that sounded very impressive.
The training was necessary to secure the role, in my opinion. I don’t think I would have secured an offer without Patricia’s help. I have previously struggled a lot with interviews.
I have a tendency to downplay my achievements. Patricia has excellent judgment in how to get across your experience in the best light. She really pays attention to each word in your response to a question, she analyses your response and she is able to translate the wording and language of what you are trying to portray into something that sounds so much better than what I had said every time. She is very talented and to observe her doing this process is like an art. I knew Patricia had experience in HR conducting interviews before her consulting, so it was amazing to get that insight.
The supplementary material was helpful. Based on the job description provided, Patricia posed some further questions which might be asked specifically for this role, which was of course very useful. I felt like I had a huge advantage with Patricia’s help in preparation when compared with the candidates I was interviewing against.
During the past year, I did do two interviews without preparing with Patricia and I failed to get through the first round on both. This time around after interviewing with three companies and after Patricia’s help, I reached the third round interview in all and secured my first choice of offer.
I think that thanks to Patricia’s help with preparation, I was prepared for an overwhelming majority of the questions asked. Because I knew I was prepared well, my confidence increased throughout the various stages, and this lead me to be more relaxed.
I am a lot more confident and feel that my interview skills have been developed well. The feedback from all the interviews I did with the companies was very positive.
As well as Patricia’s skills on the technical side, she is also a lovely person and very pleasant to deal with. I can tell that she really cares about her clients. She was incredibly flexible. I had contacted her on short notice in advance of the interviews and she was able to move her schedule around to accommodate me in advance of the interviews and sometimes outside of her normal working hours. She also checked in with me a lot outside of the interviews to wish me well and to see if I had any last-minute questions!
I think what stood out most was Patricia’s attention to detail. I could really tell that Patricia was analysing each word I used and was able to help me with rephrasing what I was saying to get it across in a better light.
In addition, I appreciated her honesty. If something didn’t sound impressive to Patricia, instead of just staying silent or nodding along, she would identify it as being an answer to work on and would help me use another example to better express my competencies. I have a feeling that some people would let it slide or move on but Patricia was a perfectionist and upfront about where my answers were weaker.
Patricia has an excellent style of working. She is very flexible, gentle, relaxed and calm style of working. She was always punctual. She was happy to direct the training where I wanted. She is a true expert in this field and Patricia would be a huge asset to any candidate interviewing for jobs.
I would encourage people to do more mock interviews following the interview prep as the normal standard. I think it should be treated as more of a long-term development of skills over a few weeks/ months than a once-off appointment. It was very helpful to do mock interviews in between the real interviews so that I could get Patricia’s insights into questions that had already been asked during the process and get her opinion of how things appeared to be going.
I think everything was very well covered. I felt really well prepared and that towards the end of the interview preparation, Patricia and I had nothing left to discuss. We had already covered all conceivable bases. Patricia would even email me after our discussions if she thought of anything further to help.
I don’t think that Patricia could improve on the experience. I would give her a 10/10 and would recommend her to everyone invited to an interview. The money is extremely well spent. If you look at a salary for a year or the advancement in your career, the fees are negligible.
I am delighted to let you know that I was successful in my interviews and have been offered the Senior Director role. Thank you for your help in achieving this goal.
Hope you’re well. I’m getting in touch to let you know that I have been called back for a second interview.
Thank you so much for all your help. It was absolutely invaluable to me. It really helped in my preparation and it gave me great confidence on the day. I was surprised by how calm and confident I felt going into the interview. I practiced the techniques you showed me and they definitely help.
Just one more round to get through now. I’ll be in touch to let you know how I get on.
Leap coaching and Patricia were recommended to me by a friend who had previously used the service and felt it was excellent. Most of my past interviews were competency-based and I felt I was just missing the mark in terms of answering the questions.
I had all the experience necessary for the roles but I found it challenging to develop coherent logical answers to competency-based questions. I wanted to change this narrative and develop my answering technique and overall feel more confident when attending interviews.
Patricia worked with me on all my scenario questions and gave me very wise and astute advice in terms of developing my answers. Patricia is an excellent communicator and helped me to re-frame how I felt about interviews.
I was successful at the interview and commence my new role in three weeks’ time. Patricia gave me the edge I needed, and I would highly recommend Leap coaching to anyone preparing for an interview.
The following day after I met you I got an interview day for the following week. The interview went well and I got panelled 2nd for both Jobs, and I got offered the QA Manager post. This week I heard that the candidate who panelled first interview withdrew, so I had the choice of either job. I’d like to thank you for your help, it certainly paid off. I’d repeat the session if I were going for another interview. I have forwarded your details to colleagues as many were interested.
My colleague at work suggested I booked an appointment with Patricia in Leap coaching ahead of my upcoming interview for a Senior role.
I hadn’t done an interview in 5 years and was worried about not being able to articulate answers to the point and going off-topic.
Patricia’s interview skills training supported me to focus. She provided invaluable suggestions that helped me to have more structured answers. She gave me the time to air my worries about what I was struggling with most about the interview and gave me tips on how to overcome same.
Patricia reassured me about the work I needed to do and the information I needed to gather, which helped me fine-tune my responses and this definitely contributed to my confidence in going into the interview.
I would highly recommend Patricia to anyone with an upcoming interview or who hasn’t part took in one in years!!
I was successful in my interview and am very grateful to Patricia for the help and support she gave me along the way.
Just to let you know that I got the Level 8 senior post, I can’t believe it. Thanks again for your sage advice and tips – they worked. Appreciate all of your support in getting here.
In completing interview skills training, I hoped to achieve more confidence in my interviewing skills and also a better understanding of what was really being asked in the questions and the best way to frame my answers.
I felt 100% better prepared after my initial training with Patricia. This is my second time coming to Patricia for training (and second time getting the job!) and it was great to be refreshed and reminded of everything. It is made so that it is easy to understand and remember and the follow-up notes were brilliant when it came to revising again for the interview.
I also did a follow-up mock interview closer to the date of the official interview and it really put me at ease in my abilities and that I knew what I needed to say and the points I needed to get across.
I really liked that I was able to do it online as it meant I could fit it around my workday. I also loved that I felt so much at ease coming out of it and I knew exactly what extra work I needed to do in order to fully prepare.
I was surprised how much I had forgotten in the four years since I had first done the training! It was brilliant to do it again and to have such great results from it.
Do it! This is my second time, for two job interviews and both times I got the job! I couldn’t think of any better result than that. I have recommended the training to friends and colleagues since I originally did it and it was just as beneficial the second time around.
Hope all is well. I just wanted to let you know that I got offered the lecturing position.
Many thanks for the great prep and the additional questions you sent on.
I just wanted to say thanks again for the session.
I received my rankings today for the HSE panel interview.
Out of 527 xxx who interviewed I was ranked 13th.
I never thought id get that high, so delighted.
Thank you!!!
Just a quick email to let you know that I was placed No. 1 on the panel for the post of xxx. I did a very good interview, was very well prepared and scored very well.
I just want to thank you for all your help with my interview preparation, it was the kick in the arse that I needed!!!
Many thanks.
Thanks for all your help preparing for my recent interviews. I really appreciated you accommodating me at such short notice. You provided great insights into how to prepare and shape my answers. The mock interviews were really valuable and the feedback was very constructive. I really felt empowered by your guidance and support.
I felt the second interview went well but I haven’t heard back yet! I was on top of any nerves on the day and I felt I provided detailed answers in a relaxed manner. It is hard to know with online interviews but I thought I built rapport with the external people on the panel. I definitely feel that it was close to as good a performance as I could give.
So even if I don’t get the role, I feel I gave it my best shot.
Your questions were spot on and I would never have prepared most of these only for you.
Just to let you know the brilliant news that I got 1st place and bagged the xxx Specialist role.
I’m over the moon and delighted that I reached out to you for advice and the mock interview. I took on board your guidance and it served me well.
You had been referred to me by a colleague and I’m delighted I made the investment in myself. I now have a role I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into. I’ll be passing on the good karma and recommending you!
Many thanks
Just to let you know I got 3rd on the panel. They only qualified 4 people so it’s a massive result for me.
Thanks so much your advice really paid off!
Just wanted to let you know that the interview went really well. I implemented many of your helpful tips and suggestions, and I was in the right frame of my mind going into it. I was notified last night that I got the job!
Thanks so much for your help.
Just a quick email to say that the interview for the xxx went well last Wednesday. It was very much based on the competencies with a few technical questions thrown in.
I found out last Friday that I made the panel and today, I have been informed that I will be receiving a job offer before the end of the week for a position in Cork.
Thank you so much for your guidance and advice, it was very beneficial and helped me prepare to the best of my ability.
I really enjoyed the TED talks too.
My interview was amazing. I felt so confident and prepared, I put a lot of work into my examples following our session. I feel I did the best interview of my life. I didn’t get the job as it went to someone with more management experience and for me it is actually for the best. I did go for a feedback session after the interview. I was told I came across very confident and prepared and my interview technique was flawless.
Thanks for your advice and tips!
Not sure if you remember me, but I just wanted to thank you so much for all your help! I’ve been offered the position of xxx for xxx! I even managed to fight off 4 internal candidates and 15 external!! Only for your advice I doubt I would have been as successful, most questions we went through that day came up and after the week of preparation, I felt very confident.
Thanks again, I’ve passed and will continue to pass on your details to anyone I would think would benefit from the terrific service you provide.
I just wanted to let you know that I had my interview this morning … and was told I was the preferred candidate at tea-time! I’m absolutely thrilled!
I gave the presentation a complete overhaul after our session and it was much stronger. I had done a lot of work on the competency questions that you sent through and I was able to fluently give examples in the structure we practised to anything I was asked. There was a great flow to the interview and I was really quite happy afterwards.
So thank-you very much for all your advice – I was never so well prepared for an interview and I’m absolutely delighted to have gotten this job!
I just wanted to let you know that I was successful in my interview!!
Thank you for your assistance, I will be sure to recommend your services to my colleagues in the future.
Thanks for all your help. I’m just out of the interview. I got a bit nervous at the start but I calmed down after the initial question. Have no idea why I got nervous as they were lovely… All questions I prepared with you over the week came up except one…
Thanks for all your help. You have been very helpful to me and I’ll be recommending you to others.
Just to say thanks for your advice and help for my interview. I got the job offer and I got great feedback on how I structured my answers and how I engaged with the panel!
Thanks again,
I wanted to thank you again for your guidance and coaching over the past couple of weeks. I was delighted with my ‘performance’. I put my best foot forward and actually really enjoyed the experience.
We won’t find out the result for a week or so. But whatever the outcome, I’ll always be able to say that I ‘nailed’ the interview!
Thanks again and best wishes,
I hope you remember me. I had a session with you last August. I was going to have a phone interview from xxx at the time which led to an interview. I wasn’t selected at that time but I was shortlisted for a position.
I thought I would email you to let you know that I had a medical and got the position. There was an issue if I could work in a clean room environment because of my condition, but I am going to be in a position where I’ve been cleared to work in.
Thank you so much again Patricia, for all your expertise, guidance and advice. That session helped me get that position. It gave me the chance to look beyond the usual questions, to think about the position itself and the questions around that position. That led me to remember the duties I did when I was an operator previously. This is a life changer for me and my family.
I came 4th on the grade 7 panel! There are two positions but I might get acting at some stage. I am very happy. I surprised myself at the interview – I was very anxious going in but settled quickly and did a much better job at making answers concise and relevant.
Thank you very much for your help!
Sorry I haven’t been on sooner to let you know how my interview went. I have been on holidays.
It went very well. The meeting with yourself focused me on what to look at and how to start my answers. I felt relaxed and I was able to answer everything they asked using my own examples as you had suggested. I came no. 2 on the panel. Unfortunately I didn’t get the immediate post but there is another post sitting out there waiting on finance to approve, so hopefully.
Thanks again.
Just to let you know I was successful at my recent interview for Senior Executive Engineer with the Public Appointments Service and will be offered a position with xxx in the coming weeks.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance – it was invaluable.
The mock interview and feedback you gave me was very beneficial as it motivated me to prepare in the correct areas for the interview.
Other areas that I concentrated on and that really helped just before and at the interview stage were body language and the power pose as they helped me relax and gave me confidence.
Many thanks again and best of luck for the future.
Just a quick note to thank you for your excellent guidance in preparation for my interview for xxx (Grade 7). A panel was formed from the competition from which appointments will be made shortly. The good news for me is I placed No. 1 on the panel.
Thanks again and I will certainly be recommending you to anyone I encounter in the future preparing for interview.
I have been meaning to contact you to give you an update. The following day after I met you I got an interview day for the following week. The interview went well and I got panelled 2nd for both Jobs, and I got offered the QA manager post. This week I heard that the candidate who panelled first withdrew, so I had the choice of either job.
I’d like to thank you for your help, it certainly paid off and I would repeat the session if I was going for another interview.
I have forwarded your details to colleagues as many were interested. Thanks again.
When I first applied for the promotion I had always wanted, I knew I would need professional help to get me organised and prepared for it.
I contacted Patricia and we arranged sessions where she went through everything from the start to the finish of the interview I was facing. She helped me structure possible answers, learn how to hear what the interview panel were asking me as opposed to what I heard, how to tackle questions that I had not anticipated, how to come up with questions for the panel, and many more things that proved vital and others I had not even considered!
I firmly believe that if I had not received those coaching sessions from Patricia, then I would not have gotten the promotion. But I did, because she showed me how to get it. Now I do not have to worry about interviews ever again as I have landed my dream job! Thanks again Patricia!
Just wanted to say thanks for all your help with this. I got the job and should be starting in the next few weeks. I spoke to my boss after it and the feedback was very good on both my presentation and the interview. Thanks for helping me focus and put myself in the best light possible.
I received confirmation yesterday evening that I was successful in my application / interview and got the job! I’m delighted with the news.
Initial feedback is that my interview went very well and they were very impressed with me!
So thank you for all your help. It proved to be a very worthwhile exercise for me.
Just a quick email to let you know I got the radiology job in xxx, found out on Friday evening having interviewed on Thursday. All went well, the panel were quite relaxed and I had plenty of room to talk through the points in my answers, and all the questions I was asked were ones we had gone through… Overall I felt I couldn’t have prepared any better, and the content of my answers was made all the more positive and structured through your help, for which I’m extremely grateful.
Great news I got the job here in the…
Anyway, delighted about it, all the preparation paid off. Thank you so much for all your help, I really learned a lot over the sessions, much of which is of help to me over and above the interview process. I think one thing that I did notice in the actual interview was that I was more grounded and felt ‘happier in my own skin’ which I’m sure came across to the board. Your expertise around focusing on the xxx and structuring answers was brilliant but also your more ‘holistic’ approach I think went a little deeper which is what I needed.
Thanks again for all your help, I will be recommending you to anyone around me here who goes for an interview.
I had my interview today with the head of HR. I thought it went really well. I was nervous but I answered with confidence and I think my enthusiasm came across. I got what I wanted, in so far as I felt at the end of the interview I had performed well and got my points across. I am happy with that however the result turns out. I have another interview with the xxx manager. I will let you know how It goes.
Thank for giving me that confidence.
Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for all your help coming up to my interview, it really helped. Everything we went through they asked, so I sailed through it confidently and not a bit nervous. Not bad for my first interview in over 14 years!
I’ve to wait 2 weeks now to see if I get a call back or not….. fingers crossed I do. I don’t think I could of done any better than I did.
Thank you again so so much, your an absolute life saver 🙂
I’ve got the good news I was hoping for from the Public Appointments Service … I got through the AO Assessment Day and placed xx on the Order of Merit. To say I’m thrilled is an understatement!
This really is a brilliant Christmas present. Thank you so much for all that you have done to help me through this process, words cannot describe how grateful I am!
Wishing you continued success and a wonderful year!
Best wishes,
Just a quick mail to say I was offered the position. I got the official word today. Thanks for the help beforehand. It was great. I especially liked the power posing talk. I used it several times coming up to the interview and in particular right beforehand.
Best regards and thanks again,
Thank you so much for your help. I had my interview at 9.30 this morning, it started it 9.40 and I got out at 10.20. I enjoyed it so much. I was very prepared, thanks to you.
I will know in a fortnight if I get a second interview. Hopefully, I will be contacted you for further interview coaching for the second interview.
Oh by the way the question at the end about xxx, went down a treat. They said it was never asked before and he started on about how great I was. It ended the interview on a very positive note.
I hope to be in contact soon.
Thanks for all your help today. The interview was brilliant. They said that I would have the job…
Thanks again for guidance, ill let you know what happens.
Hope you had a lovely holiday. Just dropping you a message to say thanks for your help, the day went really well and I’ve been offered a place starting in September so it couldn’t have gone better.
Thanks again.
Just to let you know the interview took place yesterday and thankfully went reasonably well, especially considering I hadn’t done one for so long.
The ideas you gave me for preparation paid off – although the questions weren’t asked in the same format I could adapt the same information in most instances to answer what was asked. Of course there were some surprises and perhaps a slightly stronger emphasis on certain areas than I might have expected from the role profile they had given…
It was a positive experience overall in that I had prepared something for most questions that were asked….
At least now I feel that it’s mostly a case of polishing the expression and delivery of my experience for future interviews which is a big improvement on last week.
I just wanted to say thanks for the help and best wishes.
I went for the interview in xx and xx for the post grad course in primary teaching and they both went well.
To my surprise I accepted to both colleges. I chose xx as its a bit closer to home so I will be starting there the 27th of this month! I’m thrilled!!
Thanks so much for your help, it really stood to me in both interviews!
Interview went REALLY well. Couldn’t have gone better. Fingers are crossed, I will know in 2 weeks. Thanks again for all your help.
I just wanted you to know that I got the job you helped me prepare for. Since that evening I meet you I attended 4 interviews for 4 different companies and was offered all 4 roles!
Thanks again for your help.
I received belated news that I got the job. I was informed that nearly 10,000 people had initially applied for the jobs. Thanks for all your help. I would be happy to provide some glowing feedback for your website if required.
Interview went very well, really happy, she commented after the interview about my overall ability to answer, experience and personal presentation. Thanks for all the help..
I got the job! Couldn’t have done it without you, it really was a team effort as I had never gone through anything like that before. They were extremely complementary on my CV and presentation and I nailed the interview. Thanks so much for everything.
Just wanted to let you know xxx offered me the job this morning. I’m absolutely delighted, thank you again for all your help, it really did go a long way.
I got a call this morning saying that they wanted to grab me up before I got offered anything else. I am so happy. I am off to Dublin to do my dream job. Patricia, I can’t thank you enough for your input. You are so very insightful and it’s as if you gave me the formula! You are excellent at your job and I hope you go from strength to strength with your coaching business.
I had an interview for a health sector role that was a dream job for me. I found Patricia’s advice, preparation and guidance invaluable – she taught me how to think differently and avoid the obvious interview tactics, and she passed on excellent techniques and skills to me. She is also extremely personable and empathetic, as well as being so professional. I’m delighted to say: I was successful in my application, as well as coming joint first out of all the applicants! I would highly recommend, without hesitation, Patricia’s professional service to job-seekers.
Just to let you know I got offered the xxx Fellowship yesterday, and I of course accepted!!! Thank you so much for all your help, I feel like the coaching really helped me to get it. Hope you have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks again.
It went well, I was much happier coming out of it than the previous two interviews, the session I did with you made a big difference, thanks again, it was great!. I have not heard back yet but that is as expected as the interviewer said it would be a few weeks. I will be recommending you to any friends or colleagues interested in interview coaching.
I got offered a place on the GP scheme!! Am so happy! Over the moon!
Thank you for all your help – I think you gave me the extra edge of confidence on the day 🙂
Hope you’re keeping well. Just thought I’d let you know I got a new job. I’m now Sponsorship and Promotion’s Executive with xx. Your advice from our session came in really handy, especially the notes! I was able to go back over them before the interview which was really handy!!
Thanks for all your help! I really appreciate it.
I have been meaning to send this email for some time now… Early this year we met for interview skills for a promotion in the xxx which was a great help to me and was a success, so I would like to say thanks very much for your guidance…
I just wanted to let you know that I was successful in the interview last week.
The interview went well. I think I made my mistakes the day before!
The session with you was very helpful. I just wanted to say a big Thank You!
Just a quick message to let you know that I had my interview this morning…
I’m delighted I went for it, it was a very positive experience and very refreshing to talk with someone on a similar wavelength to myself. Thanks so much for all your help, I felt not at all nervous & that’s all down to you!
Hopefully, when I see u next week, I’ll be planning my exit strategy or else back on the search! Either way, I’ll see u Wednesday as planned! Thanks again, have a good week.
In 2012 a former colleague put me in contact with Patricia at LEAP Coaching. I was unemployed for approximately 2 years and believed that my chances of employment, full time or otherwise had passed by. During the 2 years of unemployment, I submitted at least 250 CV’s for job application without once receiving a response.
During our initial meeting, Patricia structured my CV to reflect my current skill set and the type of employment sought. The results were instantaneous. With a new CV structure in place, each time I submitted a job application, almost immediately I received a reply, and to the extent that recently I had to decide between 3 prospective long-term employers.
Subsequently, Patricia has helped me with several interviews and her time and expertise were beneficial in the confident approach I took to each successful interview.
All in all, I found Patricia fantastic to deal with, accommodating, understanding and very knowledgeable. She has certainly helped me to return to work and for that, I am eternally grateful.
Just to let you know I got 3rd on the panel. They only qualified 4 people so it’s a massive result for me.
Thanks so much your advice really paid off!
That is fantastic, I wouldn’t change anything about it! I like the structure & the flow of the content.
Thank you so much, have a wonderful week.
My CV gets rejected and I mostly struggle to land interviews. Thanks to Patricia’s tips, I understood how I should improve my CV, identify my weaknesses, and how I should overcome them. I will definitely rebook a session with Patricia once I land an interview. Highly recommend!
It was so long since I did my CV & prepared for an interview, so I reached out to the Ladies at Leap Coaching for support.
They were fantastic at taking my skill set & transferring them to the new Job spec & Patricia guided me through Interview prep. I found the test interview to be enormously helpful.
I highly recommend Leap coaching services to anyone looking for help with both CV review & Interview training.
Thanks, Ladies for supporting me in getting my dream job.
Quick update for you. I applied for a few jobs, got two interviews, and got job offers for both. I have accepted one. Both HR interviewers looked at the cv you redid for me and commented that they were impressed, it looked great. I could never make it look as good thanks so much.
I just wanted to reach out to give you an update.
The work you completed with me and my CV, has transformed the job application process.
Since the complete rework of the CV, and any job application I applied for, I have had a response, subsequent interview(s), and offer(s).
It’s incredible the transformation from very little forward progression to having multiple offers on the table at the same time.
As I finish up my current role this week, I just wanted to put pen to paper to thank you again for all your help.
I have highly recommended Leap Coaching to friends and colleagues already, and I’m sure we will do this again soon.
I honestly don’t think I could have portrayed myself so effectively on paper. The difficulties I was experiencing in trying to include non-technical elements into a technical CV, you have achieved a perfect balance. I am really happy with how it turned out.
I hope you are keeping well. Just a note to say thank you again for assisting me with my recent job application. I have been called to the next stage of the interview process. There was a very large volume of applications, so that is why it took so long to hear back!
Thank you so much! meeting with you was so fantastic. And reading back on the CV has helped me be more confident in my work.
Thanks very much for the updated CV, it is top class, to be honest with you, really pleased with it.
That is unbelievable. Can’t believe that’s my CV. I taught I was reading someone else’s . Thanks again for such great work and effort. It’s really appreciated. I’ll keep you updated in the coming weeks on the outcome. Thanks again.
I’m absolutely delighted with the CV, it looks very impressive and professional. Thank you again for all your help and time.
Just want to let you know that I got the Senior Manager role I applied for down in xxx. It’s been a long process but finally got the call yesterday.
I really appreciate all your help and patience with me. I have asked my sister who is moving back from Mexico to contact you with regards to help on her CV and LinkedIn page.
I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thanks again for the CV. It has already generated twice as much interest as my old one.. here’s hoping one of the leads I’m chasing will turn into something good!! Thanks so much again!
I have been called for a lot of interviews since my CV was updated. I would strongly recommend her services to anyone who wants their CV to stand out.
Thanks a million for updating my CV with such short notice. The CV worked, I got called in for an interview and am on the job a few days now. I’ll have to buy you a drink some time to say thanks…
I got called for that interview, they actually commented on my CV and how impressed they were by it. That is thanks to you! I would like to arrange some interview and presentation training with you…
Thanks very much! The cover letter and the CV are amazing! I’ll let you know if I need interview training, once I know if I’ve gotten called for an interview.
As you may recall, you assisted me in formatting my CV and helping me prepare for an interview recently. I said I’d drop you a line to advise that I secured full-time employment in xx, which is only 30mins from my xx. The CV worked well, I got a lot of good feedback.
I finish here on xx and start over there on xx, so its ‘Just In Time’.
Thanks for your help and assistance, much appreciated.
I was in with you back in September /October updating my CV for a job I was going for in xx xx. Well I just wanted to inform you that I was offered a position there Christmas week which I was thrilled to accept. It was a lengthy process which included an initial 40 min phone interview followed 2wks later by a 3-hour interview down in xxx. My CV was the centrepoint on both occasions so I want to thank you most sincerely for your help and assistance with my CV when I was with you. It was much appreciated.
When Your current employer asks you at an interview before the formalities are over – “Who did your CV, it is amazing!” – then it makes the rest of the process more comfortable, allows your confidence to rise and for you to show off the skills that you know you are best at – more importantly, the skills your prospective employer wants! Thanks a mill.
Thank you so much, it is basically beyond expectation and I’m delighted with how it turned out!
As a testimonial to you, I found the experience of building a CV to be daunting and almost felt that is some respects that I didn’t possess the skills necessary to apply for the roles I had in mind. Dealing with you was refreshing, I found it professional and most of all easy. From the non-intrusive email correspondence to the face to face meeting, I always felt that you got a sense of me and the goals I was trying to achieve. The end product was to a very high standard and, as an employer myself, I would be extremely impressed if handed a CV like the one you provided. Interview skills next (hopefully), so I’ll talk to you soon.
I had a number of sessions in 2016 to prepare a detailed job promotion application for a senior management position in the public service. The application was competency based. I found the advice and guidance to be excellent, and with your assistance in preparing the final application, I secured an interview for the post. I have to say it is the best I was ever prepared and with additional interview support, I was successful in getting the promotion. I would highly recommend anyone the service if they are filling out an application form or going for an interview; preparation is key!
Thanks for all your help! I’ve just been offered an interview for the job I based my cover letter on! I’m very excited! It’s next week so I’ve loads of time to prepare!
Thanks again, can’t believe I got an interview this quickly after seeking your help and expertise!!
Just to let you know that the CV you did for me, has been much complimented. I have succeeded to secure part-time work in the Interior Design field which I am very happy about.
This looks fantastic. I would have never been able to put that on paper.
From what I read so far, I’m very happy with it and everything looks correct. Thank you very much!
Thank you for the cover letter, it is amazing.
Thank you so much for your help. You are truly professional and excellent at your role. I would be delighted to further recommend your services to my friends.
Just to let you know that I was successful in that job application. It’s been hectic for past 2 weeks getting up to speed but in a good way so delighted.
I am absolutely delighted with the CV, especially the most recent freelance part of it. I like the ‘third person’ aspect of it and bulleted layout. I think it’s very impressive looking!
I just wanted to say thank you for your help. I found the CV review very beneficial and got called for several interviews. The interview training was also very helpful, and I’ve just recently secured employment. Thanks again.
Thanks for the updated CV and LinkedIn. I have applied for a couple of jobs last week and already getting positive responses. I’m starting to get calls about phone, Skype and face to face interviews which is fantastic!
One Senior Project Team Manager and the other a director of a PMO… so delighted with the response so far! Thank you for all your help!
Wow… what a difference. It sounds a whole lot stronger now; professional, short and on point. It will translate so well for any job application, I’m delighted with it 🙂
I really appreciate the time you took to edit it. It makes a huge difference not only to career prospects but also to self-confidence!
Just to let you know that I received a letter from the HSE yesterday and am delighted to confirm that I have been shortlisted for interview…
Thanks again for your help on this! You were a gem! I know that I would not have reached this point without your help.
Wow, everything looks amazing. The CV has been made to look very impressive and the cover letter has been improved as well – Thanks a million, a great service that I will definitely recommend to others.
I just got a notification that I came number 2 for the post. All things going well I should have a position in the next two to three months. Once again thank you. I will be referring my colleagues to you over the next few weeks as there are numerous knock-on positions been created. Many thanks.
