Online Interview Skills Training

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic social distancing guidelines, the vast majority of interviews are being held online. Whether your interview is completed via Zoom, Skype, Google Meet etc., Leap Coaching will support you to prepare appropriately both in terms of how you are presenting yourself visually and the content of your answers. The world as we know it has changed and this, in turn, has changed what interviewers are looking for in a successful candidate.

Leap Coaching provides tailored online, one-to-one interview skills training with a professional Career Coach.  You will, therefore, have the opportunity to gain honest constructive feedback in the environment where your interview will take place from an experienced interviewer. Your Coach will ensure you hit the right mark by providing direct feedback on how to improve your online appearance and interview answers. The questions your interview skills trainer will ask are directly related to your interview or potential interview. Your Career Coach will provide key pointers that will enable you to come across both confidently and professionally online.

Dealing with Interview Nerves

Interview Skills Training will support you to put your best foot forward. It can be difficult to get called for an interview so when you get shortlisted there is generally a feeling of satisfaction and pride. However, soon after the good news is received panic can set in. This can particularly be the case if you have not completed an interview in a while, if you really want the job, if you have been made redundant, or if you had an experience where an interview went really badly etc. How can you prepare effectively for an interview and beat those nerves? Leap Coaching provides one-to-one tailor-made training that provides you with the skills and confidence to perform well in your all-important interview.

Some Interview Skill Training Testimonials:

“Last Friday morning I had my second interview along with the presentation.

Was grilled by the CEO and felt I hadn’t done well at all.

Anyway got a call at lunchtime and they offered me the job. Honestly couldn’t believe it.

Decision time now. Again I would like to say thanks for your help. It was fantastic and something I’ll carry with me no matter what road I decide to go. Thanks again.

Regards,

Vince”

“Thanks for all your help.

I’m just out of the interview. I got a bit nervous at the start but I calmed down after the initial question. Have no idea why I got nervous as they were lovely… All questions I prepared with you over the week came up except one…

Thanks for all your help. You have been very helpful to me and I’ll be recommending you to others.

Kind Regards,
Ryan”

“I got a call this morning saying that they wanted to grab me up before I got offered anything else. I am so happy. I am off to Dublin to do my dream job. Patricia, I can’t thank you enough for your input. You are so very insightful and it’s as if you gave me the formula! You are excellent at your job and I hope you go from strength to strength with your coaching business.”

“I had an interview for a health sector role that was a dream job for me. I found Patricia’s advice, preparation and guidance invaluable – she taught me how to think differently and avoid the obvious interview tactics, and she passed on excellent techniques and skills to me. She is also extremely personable and empathetic, as well as being so professional. I’m delighted to say: I was successful in my application, as well as coming joint first out of all the applicants! I would highly recommend, without hesitation, Patricia’s professional service to job-seekers.”

“To begin, thank you very much for the interview coaching, it gave me a terrific sense of clarity heading into my own interview later that evening. It went well…. In fairness the questions were fair and in many cases followed a similar line to your own. I stumbled briefly on a question regarding … In any case, I left feeling pleased with a solid effort but not any great confidence of success. On … I was called by the Principal … and he informed me that I placed 1st in the interview process and would I accept the position. I GOT THE JOB!!!!!

Naturally, I am thrilled and looking forward to making this huge step forward in my career.

Many thanks and I look forward to recommending your services to my peers.

Regards,
